It’s an exciting opportunity for our builders to gain new skills, explore another side of craftsmanship, and continue growing their confidence in the trades.

Join us for Franklin County Industrial Development Corporation’s (FCIDC) 2nd Annual Tech Day on November 12th! This exciting event brings together Franklin County 8th graders to explore hands-on demonstrations and presentations from local organizations working in science, technology, and the trades. Students will rotate through interactive sessions to learn how technology is used in different industries including aviation, where they’ll meet members of Habitat for Aviation and discover how youth and mentors are building and maintaining real aircraft right here in Franklin County. Help shape the future of local news in Vermont! The Vermont Community Foundation is conducting a statewide project to understand how Vermonters get their local news and information, what’s working, and what’s missing.

Habitat for Aviation is partnering with VCF to host a listening session for our community. We invite you to join a 90-minute listening session where you’ll have the opportunity to share your experiences and ideas—what matters to you, what you rely on, and how local information could better serve you and your neighbors.
