VAAC Meeting
Vermont Aviation Advisory Council Meeting
Habitat for Aviation will be in attendance at an upcoming Vermont Aviation Advisory Council meeting to listen in and stay up to date on aviation policy, airport investment priorities, and statewide aviation initiatives impacting Vermont’s aviation industry.

C.P. Elementary STEM Fair
Habitat for Aviation will be participating in C.P. Smith Elementary School’s Spring Science Night on Thursday, March 26, from 5:30–7:00 PM in Burlington’s New North End. This community-centered evening invites students and families to explore hands-on science projects and connect with local organizations working in STEM fields. Habitat for Aviation will host an interactive informational booth, connecting students and families to real-world aviation and STEM pathways while sharing opportunities for future learning, enrichment, and careers in the aviation industry.

UVM Student Summit
On April 1st, Beth White and the builders of Habitat for Aviation will take the stage as keynote speakers at the Student Summit hosted at the Dudley H. Davis Center at University of Vermont. Attendees will hear the inspiring story behind Habitat for Aviation—how a bold vision grew into a powerful movement empowering young people, especially girls, to build airplanes and reshape the future of flight.

Habitat for Aviation will be participating in the 2nd Annual Trades & Apprenticeship Fair on Wednesday, April 15, from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM at Missisquoi Valley Union High School in Swanton, Vermont. The fair brings together students from across Franklin County, grades 7–12, to explore skilled trades, technical careers, and apprenticeship pathways. Habitat for Aviation will host an interactive informational booth, connecting students and families to real-world aviation and STEM pathways while sharing opportunities for future learning, enrichment, and careers in the aviation industry.

Aviation Day @ VT Statehouse
Join us on April 30th for Aviation Day at the Vermont State House, where aviators and aviation professionals from across the state will gather to discuss the needs of general aviation airports throughout Vermont. The day begins with Coffee Hour at the State House from 8:00–9:00 AM, followed by the main event at 10:00 AM. Habitat for Aviation will be in attendance, with our builders meeting directly with state legislators to share our movement and advocate for the future of aviation in Vermont. We’re proud to stand alongside the broader aviation community to ensure our state’s airports—and the opportunities they create—continue to thrive.

Join us for the Vermont Aviators Association’s and EAA Chapter 613’s Cabin Fever Frolic event.

Some of our builders are taking their skills to the next level in a Women in Welding course taught by Louisa Ulrich, a local welding artist and one of our very own airplane builders! Hosted at the Northwest Career & Technical Center in St. Albans, this hands-on class offers participants the chance to learn foundational welding techniques in a supportive, creative environment. It’s an exciting opportunity for our builders to gain new skills, explore another side of craftsmanship, and continue growing their confidence in the trades.
