OUR
MISSION
To support the next generation of AVIATION MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS and AVIONICS SPECIALISTS for CONVENTIONAL and ELECTRIC AIRCRAFT through APPRENTICESHIP OPPORTUNITIES anchored in RELATIONSHIPS, RELEVANCE, and PRACTICE in an inclusive, welcoming environment where youth come to deeply know themselves and become deeply known by supportive adults.
Relationships, Relevance, and Practice are our core values.
OUR VISION
To grow an apprenticeship program that trains the next generation of aviation technicians and avionics specialists for conventional and electric aircraft through apprenticeship, and to serve as a proof point for learning through relationships, relevance, and practice.
OUR VALUES
We value trusted relationships, teamwork, meaningful, relevant work with one’s hands, practice, learning through apprenticeship, and inclusivity.
YOUTH APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING PROGRAM
Our youth apprenticeship training program at Franklin County Airport in Swanton, Vermont, is preparing the next generation of airplane mechanics, avionics specialists, and pilots. Funds from our capital campaign will enable us to transform our 9,600 sq foot warehouse into a hangar where youth will work alongside trusted adults to earn their mechanics, avionics, and pilots licenses for both electric and conventional aircraft.
