Women Build Planes!

Every Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM, our hangar at Franklin County State Airport is filled with energy, focus, and hands-on learning. The Women Build Planes team—one of the only all-female, multigenerational aircraft build crews in the country—is constructing a Rans S-21 Outbound from the ground up. Whether you're an experienced builder or new to aviation, you're welcome to join and check out our program. No experience necessary—just bring a willingness to learn and a can-do spirit.
