Habitat for Aviation’s Friend, Adam Alpert, Earns Prestigious FAA Wright Brother’s Award

We were proud to help celebrate Adam Alpert as the recipient of the 2025 Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award, one of the FAA’s most prestigious honors. This award recognizes more than fifty years of safe piloting, professionalism, and contribution to aviation, placing Adam among a distinguished roll of aviators nationwide. For us at Habitat for Aviation, Adam is more than an accomplished pilot. He is a Vermonter, a friend, and one of those aviation role models who helps us see-to-believe what is possible.

To honor the occasion, Beth created a special painting for Adam, and we were glad to share a special brochure during the celebration that told a bit of our story alongside our appreciation for his legacy. Adam is someone who carries the spirit of flight forward and reminds us that aviation is passed from one set of hands to the next. That message felt especially fitting, because that is exactly what we are trying to do at Habitat for Aviation. Congratulations, Adam. We see you, and we are grateful for the example you continue to set. Keep flying!
