A State-of-the-Art Facility Designed as a Center of Excellence to Prepare Youth for the World of Aviation
A place that feels like home and family
Our concept design, which is in its planning stage with help from BETA Technologies, will serve to prepare, transform, and open career pathways for youth and adults interested in working with their hands in the field of general and electric aviation. Our spaces will be designed to enhance learning and personal growth.
A Space to Inspire
From just inside the foyer, we imagine having glass doors to north and south that could provide a sneak-peek into the happenings within. With capital support we will someday build a hangar space to the south where BETA Technologies’ electric aircraft, ALIA, can be serviced.
Facilities
We envision a commercial kitchen that produces healthy, home cooked meals for our participants. Study spaces, like a library dedicated to our mentor, George Coy, will look out over the Franklin County’s runway and will be filled with resources, quite possibly a simulator, and serve as a place for youth and adults to learn and connect.
