Habitat for Aviation had the privilege of presenting to the Highgate Selectboard and town manager, an exciting opportunity to share our mission and the work we’re doing to empower young women in aviation.

In September, Habitat for Aviation proudly cheered on Abby Demar and her team at the Spike Out Cancer volleyball event at BFA St. Albans. Granny, Beth, and Taylor showed up in our signature pink overalls, ready to support both the team and the cause.

Habitat for Aviation’s Women Build Planes team was thrilled to participate in the Green Mountain Aviation Field Days, which drew over 8,000 attendees—the largest aviation event Vermont has seen in more than 30 years.

Women Builds Planes Team presented two workshops at the Women in Leadership Conference, co-hosted by the Vermont Superintendents Association and the Vermont Principals’ Association in Killington, VT

Ashwil Bell's inspiring article has been published in Aviation for Girls, a magazine from Women in Aviation, and will be included in thousands of bags distributed to girls worldwide as part of Girls in Aviation Day.

At the Girl Scout Role Model Night at Georgia Elementary School, Habitat for Aviation had the privilege of spending an inspiring evening with the local Girl Scout troops.

By redefining aviation education through real-world practice and mentorship, Habitat for Aviation serves as a scalable blueprint for workforce development, ensuring a more diverse and inclusive future in aerospace.

Several members of our Women Build Planes team had the exciting opportunity to help our dear friend Doyle inventory his newly-purchased Rans S-21 Outbound airplane kit at his shop in Waterbury, VT.

We are incredibly proud to announce that Taylor, Emma, Miranda, and Abby, four of our dedicated Rosies, have reached a remarkable milestone—120 hours as Harbor Freight Fellow Apprentices!

This summer, BETA Technologies hosted its first-ever Summer Fest Rodeo, and Habitat for Aviation was honored to be part of the celebration!

Despite the challenges posed by the airport shutdown for construction, EAA Chapter 613 has had a remarkably productive and inspiring summer thus far. Our dedication and ingenuity enables us to continue our tradition of fostering a love for aviation among the youth through our expanded summer camp and airplane builds.
